| Tell your doctor if you are allergic to any ingredients of Tramadol, or if you are taking any other medications such as quinidine; pain relievers; medications for depression; carbamazepine (Tegretol); MAO inhibitors [phenelzine (Nardil) or tranylcypromine (Parnate)]; sleeping pills; tranquilizers; and vitamins. Tell him or her if you have or have ever had kidney or liver disease, a history of seizures, or a history of alcohol or drug abuse.
Women who are pregnant, likely to become pregnant, or breastfeeding should tell their doctor before taking Tramadol. Women who get pregnant while using this drug should be let their doctor know. Any surgeons, including dental surgeons, should be aware that you are on Tramadol.
This medication may cause drowsiness. Use caution if you have to drive or operate machinery. Combining Tramadol with alcohol can cause even more drowsiness. |
